Candle Care
🕯 First Burn is Key: When lighting your candle for the first time, let the wax melt all the way to the edges of the jar (about 2 hours). This prevents tunneling and keeps your candle happy!
✂️ Trim the Wick: Before each burn, gently pinch off the curled bits of the blackened wick—just the top! Aim for a wick length of 1/8" to 3/16". This helps the flame burn clean and steady.
🔥 Fuel Your Flame: Use a long lighter and hold it to the wick for about 5 seconds to get it going. Wood wicks take their time, so patience is key! Think of it as lighting a tiny, cozy fireplace.
✨ Flame Dance? No Worries!: It’s normal for the flame to flicker or dip in and out during burns. As long as it doesn’t fully extinguish, your candle is doing just fine!

Candle Safety
Safety first, always! To avoid fire hazards:
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Keep away from pets, children, and anything flammable.
- Always place your candle on a heatproof surface.
- Limit burns to 4 hours at a time.
- Stop using your candle when 1/2 inch of wax remains at the bottom.
